You can put this solution on YOUR website! First remove the parentheses using the distributive property:
1/2(14x+2)=3(2-3x)
7x+1= 6 - 9x
Next, get all the x terms on the left side by adding +9x to each side.
7x + 9x + 1 = 6-9x +9x
16x +1 =6
Get all the number terms to the right side by subtracting 1 from each side:
16x +1 -1=6-1
16x =5
Finally, divide both sides by 16:
