I think you might want to start by clearing the fraction by multiplying both sides by 2:
2d = 2vt + at^2
Now, the only v in the problem is on the right side, so let's get rid of the at^2 by subtracting this from each side:
2d-at^2 = 2vt
Finally divide both sides by 2t to leave the v alone:
That should do it!!
