You can put this solution on YOUR website!
FIND THE MEASURE OF 2 COMPLEMENTARY ANGLES:
angle A and angle B if measuremnt of angle A= 7x+4 and measurement of angle B= 4x+9

Step 1. Complementary angles are those two angles adding up to 180 degrees.

Step 2. Given that

A=7x%2B4

B=4x%2B9

add A+B to get 90 degrees

A%2BB=7x%2B4%2B4x%2B9

A%2BB=11x%2B13=90

Step 3. Subtract 13 from both sides to isolate x term on one side.

11x%2B13-13=90-13

11x=77

Step 4. Divide 11 to both sides of equation to get x

11x%2F11=77%2F11

x=7

Step 5. The following complementary angles are calculated as

A=7x%2B4=7%287%29%2B4=53 degrees

B=4x%2B9=4%287%29%2B9=37 degrees

Note: A%2BB=+53%2B37=90 degrees which helps verify our answer.

Step 6. ANSWER: The complementary angles are 53 and 37.

I hope the above steps were helpful.

And good luck in your studies!

Dr J
