Question 212021: HELP Please! I'm trying to help my 6th grader with his Algebra. What he is working on now in school is "Algebraic". I am LOST. It's been along time since I've been in school but this is the first time I have absolutely been DUMBfounded. I went on Wickpedia and couldn't understand a thing. The question is: car is traveling at 55 miles an hour. I want to write an algebraic expression to show how far the car will travel in a certain amount of hours. What will be my constant? what is my variable?
The above question is not from a textbook

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
D=rt
Distance=rate X time
D=55t
