You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Solve the equation or formula for the specified variable.
a=3b-c solve for b
-----------
You want to get b on one side of the equal sign by itself.
Add c to both sides
a+c = 3b
3b = a+c
Divide by 3
b = (1/3)*(a+c) or
b = (a+c)/3
