You can put this solution on YOUR website! Im totaly lost on my 8th grade math homework. It says *For each equations in Exercises 18-21, give two values for x for which the value of y is negative.*
For
18. y=-2x-5
If x = 0, y = -2*0-5 = 0-5 = -5
If x = 1, y = -2*1-5 = -2-5 = -7
-----------------------------------------
19. y= -4
If x = 0,y = -4
If x = 1, y = -4
---------------------------
20. y=2x-5
If x = 0, y = 2*0-5 = -5
If x = 1, y = 2*1-5 = -3
-------------------------------
21. y=(3/2)x-(1/4)
If x = 0, y = (3/2)*0 -(1/4) = -1/4
If x = -1, y = (3/2)*-1-(1/4) = (-6/4)-(1/4) = -7/4
