Given two numbers, the GCF is the lower power of common prime factors

and the LCM, is the greater power of common prime factors.

Since common factors are divided by common factors, division is possible
.
for example,,,,20,and 30
.
Prime factorization is,,,,2^2*5,,,2*3*5,,,respectively
.
GCF = 2*5=10
.
LCM = 2^2 *3*5 =60
.
LCM/GCF = 60/10 =6
