Question 209328: the tulip patch in a park is a rhombus. One side of the tulip patch is 6 ft long. The gardener at the park wants to put a fence all the way around the tulip patch. She has 7yd of fence. How many more yds of fence does she need to be able to put a fence all the way around the tulip patch?
Answer: so far I got...
Perimeter of the rhombus tulip patch is 24ft = 8yrds
I answer that the gardener needs 1 more yrd, but it's wrong. Should the correct answer be 3 yds to cover the rhombus patch???
thank you!

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
as far as I can see, your answer is correct

you mention 3yd ... is there a confusion with feet and yards in the answer key??
