Question 209165: Hi all, I think I know how to do this one, but I just want to make sure.
For the Given Matrix A:
(1 2 3)
(2 1 -1)
(2 0 1)
Use matrix multiplication to find A^2 = AA
Does this mean I just multiply al numbers by themselves? As in First Column First Row * First Column First Row (1*1)? Which is ofcourse equivalent to 1^2.
Please confirm if this is correct or not.
Thnaks, -Nick.

You can put this solution on YOUR website!

That's not right.
The 1st element of A*A is (1*1) + (2*2) + (3*2)
11 4 4
2 5 4
4 4 7
is A*A
There seems to be a problem with "Thank You" notes.
