Suppose that pure alcohol is added to a 24% alcohol mixture. Which one of the concentrations could not be obtained?
A.22% B.26% C.28% D.30%
--------------------
Ans: 22% because there is no way the percentage can decrease
if you are adding 100% alcohol.

You can put this solution on YOUR website! Suppose that pure alcohol is added to a 24% alcohol mixture. Which one of the concentrations could not be obtained?
A.22% B.26% C.28% D.30%
-----------
Any mix of 100% and 24% will produce a concentration between 100% and 24%. 22% is outside of that range.
