You can put this solution on YOUR website! 3x/(x-2) = 6/(x-2) .
 at first glance,,,3x=6,,,or x=2
 .
However, this results in 6/0=6/0,,,,or undefined
 .
 Starting over by cross multiplying,
 .
 3x(x-2) = 6(x-2)
 .
 3x^2 -6x = 6x -12
 .
 3x^2 =12
 .
 x^2 =4
 .
 x= +/- 2
 .
 checking x=2,,,,,3(2)/(2-2) = 6/(2-2),,,,or 6/0=6/0,,,undefined
 .
 checking x=-2,,,,,3(-2)/(-2-2) =6/(-2-2),,,or -6/-4=+6/-4,,,,not true
 .
net result, x=2 results in undefined answer,,,while x=-2, is not true
 .
