I tried setting it up like this:
180-x=38-3(90-x)
It doesn't seem like the answer i'm getting is the right one, especially when i try checking my answer, can you help please?

I tried setting it up like this:
180-x=38-3(90-x)
----------------
180-x = 3(90-x) - 38 You had the order reversed.
180-x = 270-3x - 38
2x = 52
x = 26 degrees (no apostrophe)

Check:
Supplement = 154
Complement = 64 (not compliment)
S = 3C - 38?
154 = 3*64 - 38 so it's correct. (It's = it is)
