Question 20723: I'm about to go crazy over here trying to figure out this problem!!! Can you PLEASE tell me the value of M in the equation; log6(3m+7) - log6(m+4) = 2log66 - 3log63. I tried to solve it, but I got stuck. I got as far as log6(3m+7) - log6(m+4) = log636 - log627. PLEASE HELP ME!!!

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Did you know that lognm - log nb can be re-written as
lognm%2Fb
So you now get log6 %283m%2B7%29%2F%28m%2B4%29 = log6 36%2F27
Since both sides are to the same log, the log can be removed thus leaving you with
%283m%2B7%29%2F%28m%2B4%29 = 36%2F27
Can you solve it from here?
