One treatment approach used for multiple myeloma is stem cell transplantation with the patients own stem cells. The following data myeloma represents the bone marrow micro- vessel density for patients who had had a complete response to the stem cell transplant as measured by blood and urine tests. The measurements were taken immediately prior to the stem cell transplants and at the time of the complete response.

I ran a 2-Sample T-Test and got the following results:
test statistic: t = 1.5924..
p-value: 0.072..

b) Interpret the meaning of the p-value in (a)
More than 7% of test results could have provided stronger
evidence for rejecting Ho, where Ho states : u(before)=u(after)
Therefore, since p is greater than 5%, fail to reject Ho.

I ran a 2-Sample T-Interval program and got the following:
-35.28 < u(b)-u(a)< 207.56

Since 0 is in the 95% CI, we Fail to reject Ho which says
u(b)-u(a)= 0
