 use 3 to multiply the expression b4 the positive sign
 it will give you:3x - 6 + (2x + 6)
 so you can write:3x - 6 + 2x +6
 takr like terms
 your final answer is: 5x because -6 and +6 will be sriked out then
 you are left with 3x + 2x =5x.
