You can put this solution on YOUR website! Solve for x: First, simplify the right side. LCD is (x+1). Now apply the LCD of 4(x+1) to both sides. Multiply both sides by 4(x+1) to clear the denominators. Simplify. Add 8x to both sides. Subtract 3 from both sides. Finally, divide both sides by 11.
