Graph the function and its inverse function: y= x+3/4.
--
Is that y = (x+3)/4 or is it y = x + (3/4)??

You can put this solution on YOUR website!

.
To find the inverse,
- solve for x
- substitute x for y and y for x
.
Starting with:
y= x+3/4
Solving for x
y - 3/4 = x
Switch x for y and y for x:
x - 3/4 = y
or,
y = x - 3/4
.
