You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Graph.
x + y < 1
How would i graph this? do i need to solve it at all or leave it as is?
----------------
Change it to equal:
x + y = 1
Graph that, and you get a line with a slope of -1. The line passes thru (0,1) and (1,0).
The area to the lower left of the line is <, that is, the sum of x and y is less than 1.

They way I do these is plot the line x+%2B+y+=1
Then shade in the area "less than" that line (below it)
See this site for doing plots like this --> http://www91.wolframalpha.com/input/?i=x+%2B+y+%3C+1+
Also, you can download geogebra and use that tool too (geogebra.org)
