p.s : this problem has a figur and there are two stick in the figure ,so I think mybe the curve between to M in the question not one!!!

x is the end of the stick on the ground, then

m%5E2+=+%28x%5E2+%2B+y%5E2%29+%2F+4
x%5E2+%2B+y%5E2+=+4m%5E2
y%5E2+=+4m%5E2+-+x%5E2
y+=+sqrt%284+m%5E2+-+x%5E2%29
I'll make m= a constant,
m+=+1 and m+=+1%2F2 and I'll plot them
