You can put this solution on YOUR website!
+x%5E2%2Bbx%2Bc+ is not really an equation.

But if you want to factor it you can use the quadratic formula to do this (even though the quadratic formula is meant to be used on equations).

If we use the quadratic formula on your expression we get:
x+=+%28-b+%2B-+sqrt%28b%5E2+-+4%2A1%2Ac%29%29%2F%282%2A%281%29%29
which simplifies to:
x+=+%28-b+%2B-+sqrt%28b%5E2+-+4c%29%29%2F2
Taking out the "+-" shorthand we get:
x+=+%28-b+%2B+sqrt%28b%5E2+-+4c%29%29%2F2 or x+=+%28-b+-+sqrt%28b%5E2+-+4c%29%29%2F2

We can now use these to factor the original expression:

If you're curious (and brave) try multiplying this out. You'll find that it simplifies to x%5E2+%2B+bx+%2B+c!
