Presuming you meant instead of (and the way you wrote it, it can be interpreted either way), then you have calculated the endpoint correctly. Note that .

Pick an integer less than 10, like 9, and substitute it into your original inequality. If you end up with a true statement, then your number line arrow will go to the left, that is so 9 is included in your solution set. Otherwise the arrow goes the other way.
