Question 201231: x intercepts of f(x)=7x+x(x-5)
The first question was to solve 7x+x(x-5)=0 and I found x=(0,-2), the next question was to find the x intercepts of f(x)=7x+x(x-5), and I am getting confused! Help! Thanks!

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
If the values "m" and "n" are the solutions to an equation of the form ax%5E2%2Bbx%2Bc=0, then the x-intercepts of f%28x%29=ax%5E2%2Bbx%2Bc are (m,0) and (n,0)

So in your case, the solutions are x=0 or x=-2 which means that the x-intercepts are (0,0) and (-2,0)
