log2x-log9x = log[2x/9x] = log[2/9)
That leaves no variable in the equation.
So what do you mean by log2x and log 9x???

log5(z-3)=2 A: z=28
I assume you mean 5 to be the base:
z-3 = 5^2
z = 25+3
z = 28
================
