You can put this solution on YOUR website!
I'm assuming you want to factor 2x%5E2-14x%2B3x-21

2x%5E2-14x%2B3x-21 Start with the given expression

%282x%5E2-14x%29%2B%283x-21%29 Group like terms

2x%28x-7%29%2B3%28x-7%29 Factor out the GCF 2x out of the first group. Factor out the GCF 3 out of the second group

%282x%2B3%29%28x-7%29 Since we have the common term x-7, we can combine like terms

So 2x%5E2-14x%2B3x-21 factors to %282x%2B3%29%28x-7%29

when there are four terms, try factoring by grouping
.
2x^3 -14x +3x -21
.
2x (x-7) +3(x-7},,,,,,like ab +cb= (a+c)b ,,,but b=(x-7)
.
(2x+3) (x-7)
.
check by subst x=1 in original and answer, ok
