y = 3 - 4x

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
y = 3 - 4x
You need to make a table of values for x to find y;
So you would choose values for x; complete the equation;
let x=0
solve the equation;
y=3-4(0)
y=3
This is your y-intercept.
Now to graph it you would need to choose 2 more values for x and solve the equation for y.
x=2
y=3-4(2)
y=3-8
y=-5
So your next point is; (2,-5)
I always like to choose 3 points;
so lets let x=1
y=3-4(1)
y=3-4
y=-1;
So your third point will be (1,-1)
Know you have three points and are able to graph!
