You can put this solution on YOUR website! Standard form: f(x)=a(x-h)^2+k
f(x)=-36x^2-36x+3
=(-36x^2-36x)+3
=-36(x^2+x)+3
=-36(x^2+x+ 1/4 - 1/4)+3 (divide the coefficient of the second term by 2 and square it to complete the square then add its negative.
=-36(x^2+x+ 1/4)-36(-1/4)+3
=-36(x+ 1/2)^2+9+3
=-36(x+ 1/2)^2+12 answer
h=-1/2 the line of symmetry on the graph.
(h,k)=(-1/2,12) the vertex of the graph
The graph points upward because a is negative.
