You can put this solution on YOUR website!
4 + 2[1-5(x-2)] = 2(x+1)
=> 4 + 2[1-5x+10] = 2x + 2
=> 4 + 2[11-5x] = 2x + 2
=> 4 + 22 - 10x = 2x + 2
=> 26 - 10x = 2x + 2
=> 26 - 2 = 2x + 10x
=> 24 = 12x
=> x = 2
