If we have the original statement p -> q, then this means that...

Original Statement: p -> q
Converse: q -> p
Inverse: ~p -> ~q
Contrapositive: ~q -> p



In the case of our problem, this means that:


Original Statement: If the sun is shining, then it will not rain.
Converse: If it will not rain, then the sun is shining
Inverse: If the sun is not shining, then it will rain
Contrapositive: If it will rain, then the sun is not shining
