No matter how fast or slow you are going it will take 40 minutes to drive 40 minutes. I do suspect that you weren't paying attention when you posted the problem and meant something entirely different. The problem is, I can't tell whether you meant how many miles will you travel in 40 minutes at 45 mph, or how many minutes will it take to drive 40 miles at 45 mph. Repost. Don't send the clarification to me because I may not be on line this evening to help you.
