Trains A and B are traveling in the same direction on parallel tracks. Train A is traveling at 100MPH and train B at 120mph. Train A passes a station at 12:10pm. If train B passes the same station at 12:22pm, at what time will train B catch up with train A ?

12 minutes difference in time passing the station. 12 minutes is 0.2 hour. In 0.2 hour the 100mph train goes 20 miles. So there is 20 miles for B to go to catch up. B is traveling 20 mph faster, so 1 hour.
