Question 198725: I have a right triangle. |> (just like that, the 90 degree angle is in the lower left, and the hypotenuse runs diagonally from top to bottom on the right side). The left leg measures 4x, and the bottom leg measures x. I have to find the hypotenuse. I was able to find the angles using trigonometry. The upper left angle measures 14. The lower right angle measures 76. The lower left angle measures 90. I did all the work I can think of, but I still can't find the hypotenuse. Please help!

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Use Pythagoras.
Hyp^2 = x^2 + (4x)^2 = 17x^2
Hyp = x*sqrt(17)
