sam can do 1/4 the job in 1 day, lisa 1/6 and tom 1/2 in 1 day
1/4 + 1/6 + 1/2
=3/12 + 2/12 + 6/12
=11/12 in 1 day
12/11 of a day to do the job
or 1 1/11 days working together.
