You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Let a= bags of apples bought
Let b= bunches of bananas bought
given:
4a= amount spent on apples
2b= amount spent on bananas
4a+%2B+2b+%3C=+12
If I plot a on the vertical axis
and b on the horizontal axis, I get
+graph%28+400%2C+400%2C+-1%2C+9%2C+-1%2C+4%2C+%28-1%2F2%29%2Ax+%2B+3%29+
The safe area is either on the line
or under it. For instance, if I get 5 bunches of
bananas, it looks like I can't get 1 bag of apples
without going over the line.
4a+%2B+2b+%3C=+12
4a+%2B+2%2A5+%3C=+12
4a+%2B+10+%3C=+12
4a+%3C=+2
a+%3C=+1%2F2
All I can get is 1/2 a bag of apples, as seen on the graph
