Two teams had to set 560 fence posts. One of the teams only set 3/4 as many posts as the other, how many posts did the faster team set.

total posts:560
one team set up 3/4 of the other team
let the faster team set up x number of posts
then the other team setup (3/4)of x
we know that both of these add up to 560


so we get,
x+(3/4)x=560
%281%2B%283%2F4%29%29x=560
((4+3)/4)x=560
(7/4)x=560
x=(560*4)/7
x=2240/7
x=320


so the faster team set up 320 posts
