Question 197688: I'm not quite sure what this question is asking, can you help?
Express the rule in function notation. (For example, the rule "square, then subtract 5" is expressed as the function f(x) = x^2 - 5.)
Divide by 7, then subtract 3
f(x)=?
thanks!

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
First, take an unknown number "x" and divide it by 7 to get x%2F7. Now subtract 3 from that result to get x%2F7-3.

So the function is f%28x%29=x%2F7-3
