You can put this solution on YOUR website! a.Find p(x) + 3q(x)
p(x) = 2x4 + 15x3 – 10x2 + 14
q(x) = 35x4 – 16x2 + x – 11
---------------------
3q(x) = 105x^4 - 48x^2 + 3x - 33 Just q(x) times 3
Add p(x), adding like terms, ie, add the x^4 terms, the x^2 terms, etc
105x^4 + 0x^3- 48x^2 + 3x - 33
+2x^4 + 15x^3 - 10x^2 +0x + 14
----------------------------------
107x^4 + 15x^3 - 58x^2 + 3x -19
