Plot the y-intercept:
Let x = 0, then y = 3, giving you point (0,3)

Note that the slope is 2 which means y increases 2 as x increases 1.

Place your pencil at (0,3) and put a dot there.

Move your pencil 2 units to the right and then 1 unit up to the
point (2,4). Put a point there.
