:
Let m = no. of miles
:
Dealer A for 4 days equation:
Cost A = .20m + 4(40)
Cost A = .20m + 160
:
Dealer B for 4 days equation
Cost B = .16m + 4(51)
Cost B = .16m + 204
:
Cost A > Cost B
.20m = 160 > .16m + 204
.20m - .16m > 204 - 160
.04m > 44
m > 44%2F.04
m > 1100 miles (I meant "B" would be a better deal when he exceeds 1100 miles)

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
A........ cost=.2x+40(d)......where x is number of miles
:
B....... cost=.16x+51(d).....where d is the number of days
:
.2x+40(4)=.16x+51(4)
:
.2x+160=.16x+204
:
.04x=44
:
x=1100 miles
