cost per unit = k[# components/# produced]

Solve for "k":
When 100 boards were produced with 10 componenets, they cost 1.00 each.
1.00 = k[10/100]
1 = k(1/10)
k = 10
Equation for this problem:
cost = 10[# of components/# of units produced]
