5x+6 <= 2(3x+7)
5x+6 <= 6x+14(by multiplying 2(3x+7))
now subtract 5x+6 on both sides
5x+6-(5x+6) <= 6x+14-(5x+6)
0<=6x+14-5x-6
0<=x+8
therefore
-8 <=x or
x >= -8 is the answer
