To find the slope of a linear (straight line) equation, put it into "slope-intercept" form, y = mx + b. m is the slope, and b i the y-intercept.
y = 2x + 0 is already in that form.
m = 2 and the y-intercept is 0. The y-intercept is actually a point, (0,0). It the point where the line intercepts the y-axis, so it's always (0,??).
