x/(x-1)-(3/x) = (1/2)

lcm = 2x(x-1)
Multiply thru by the lcm to get:
x(2x) - 3(2(x-1)) = x(x-1)
2x^2 - 6x + 6 = x^2 - x
x^2 - 5x + 6 = 0
Factor:
(x-3)(x-2) = 0
x = 3 or x = 2
