Is this a graphing calculator problem? In general
with few exceptions when an equation has a variable
that appears both in a logarithm's argument and not
in a logarithm's argument as well, there is no way of
solving it by algebra, other than approximating the
solution by iterative methods. A graphing calculator
uses iterative methods. I just used a graphing
calculator and found the approximate solution to be:

x = 3.3271783013711
