%282x+%2B+3%29%28x+%2B+1%29+=+0 Apply the zero products principle.

If 2x+%2B+3+=+0 then, 2x+=+-3 and x+=+-3%2F2
If x+%2B+1+=+0 then, x+=+-1
The roots are:
