You can
put this solution on YOUR website!
(-1/3)x+7=16
(-1/3)x=16-7
(-1/3)x=9
x=9(-3)
x=-27
---> 2x+1 = 2(-27)+1 = -54 + 1 = -53
Ans: 2x+1 = -53
