I am having difficulty with the coefficients, I am not sure how to complete the square. Any help and explanations would be great. Thanks!

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
you dont need to complete the square in this..just divide all terms by 32
:
x%5E2%2F8%2By%5E2%2F4=1
:
a=sqrt%288%29=2sqrt%282%29
b=2
:
the center is at (0,0)
:
foci is c%5E2=8-4=4
:
c=2
:
foci are at (2,0) and (-2,0)
:
major axis is 2a=4sqrt%282%29
minor axis is 2b=2(2)=4
