i shant write the 9..assume it is there: (oh yes, using ^ is misleading, as this means "power"...your questions do not have powers in them, i believe.

1. log 28
-->
log (7*4)
log7 + log4
0.8856 + 0.6309
= whatever

2. log49
-->
log(7*7)
log7 + log7
2log7
2(0.8856)
= whatever

etc. You try the next 2.
