Question 19336: I'm trying to solve an equation 18x=15x^2+12x I worked it out as 18x-15x^2+12x = 3x(6-5x+4) I'm lost from here I think the instructor meant for the problem to be 18x^3=15x^2+12x This would make more sense to make it 3x(6x^2-5x+4) Either way I cant seem to come up with the next step I tried to use -8 & 3 but not sure how Please help Thank you

18x=15x^2+12x assuming this is ok
15x^2+12x-18x=0
15x^2-6x=0
3x(5x-2)=0....ONCE YOU GOT THE EXPRESSION FACTORISED AND IF THE PRODUCT IS ZERO>>>THEN>>ONE OF THE FACTORS SHOULD BE ZERO>>>THAT IS THE SOLUTION>>>
hence 3x=0 or 5x-2=0
so x=0 or 5x=2..or x=2/5
