This is really an "inequality" rather than an "equation"
Solve for x:
8x%2B7+%3E=+5x-14 Subtract 7 from both sides.
8x+%3E=+5x-21 Subtract 5x from both sides.
3x+%3E=+-21 Finally, divide both sides by 3.
