You can put this solution on YOUR website! 38. Suupose that in a one-tail hypothesis test where you reject H0 only in the upper tail, you compute the value of the test statistic Z to be +2.00. What is the P-value Answer is 0.0228 ---
p-value = the probability that z is greater than the test statistic.
 P-value = P(z > 2.00) = 0.02275....
 -----------------------------------------------
 39. In problem 38, what is your statistical decision if you tested the null hypothesis at the 0.05 level of significance?
Since the p-value is less than 5%, reject Ho.
Comment: The p-value being less than 5% means the same as saying the
test statistic falls in the rejection interval.
